for the first time and a great deal will seem peculiarly familiar but delve under the surface of this vast nation and discover an extraordinary diversity which no other country can offer.

of the American dream from the outside world seem to be founded on Hollywood representations and White House declarations. Images of America are often inconsistent- picket fences and the Waltons, white trash and death row- all part and parcel of the Real USA; land of the free.
